At JR Architectural Spraying, we use professional-grade coatings, preparation methods, and spraying systems designed to provide a long-lasting, high-quality finish.

This page outlines our warranty coverage, exclusions, and recommended aftercare guidance to help maintain your newly sprayed surfaces.

1. Warranty Coverage

JR Architectural Spraying provides a 12-month warranty on all sprayed surfaces unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Our warranty covers coating adhesion and product performance on surfaces prepared and sprayed by JR Architectural Spraying, subject to correct use, maintenance, and environmental conditions.

Warranty periods may vary depending on the surface type, product used, exposure conditions, and level of wear; however, all standard domestic and commercial spraying work includes a 12-month warranty from the date of completion.

All warranties are subject to the terms outlined below.

2. What Our Warranty Covers

Subject to the exclusions within this document, our warranty covers:

  • Peeling caused by coating adhesion failure

  • Flaking caused by product failure

  • Premature coating breakdown under normal conditions

  • Defects directly caused by our workmanship

Where a valid warranty issue is confirmed, JR Architectural Spraying will assess and repair affected areas where reasonably possible during the 12-month warranty period.

3. What Is Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage

  • Scratches, chips, dents, or impact damage

  • Damage caused by sharp objects

  • Pressure washing damage

  • Damage caused by harsh chemicals or solvents

  • Structural movement or cracking

  • Water ingress or damp issues

  • Corrosion beneath surfaces

  • Rust bleeding from existing metalwork

  • Failing render or masonry

  • Existing substrate defects

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Damage caused by third parties

  • Wear and tear in high-use areas

  • Colour fading caused by extreme UV exposure over time

  • Damage caused by incorrect cleaning or maintenance

  • Storm, flood, fire, or extreme weather damage

The warranty applies only to the sprayed coating itself and not the underlying substrate, fittings, seals, hinges, glazing units, structural elements, silicone, or caulk.

4. Kitchen Spraying Aftercare

Freshly sprayed kitchen surfaces require time to fully cure.

Important Cure Information

Although surfaces may feel dry shortly after spraying, full curing can take several weeks depending on temperature and ventilation.

During this time:

  • Avoid harsh cleaning products

  • Avoid abrasive cloths or scouring pads

  • Avoid dragging sharp objects across surfaces

  • Avoid excessive moisture exposure

  • Avoid hanging damp cloths over doors

  • Avoid impact damage

Cleaning Guidance

For routine cleaning:

  • Use a soft microfibre cloth

  • Use warm water with mild soap only

  • Dry surfaces after cleaning

Do not use:

  • Bleach

  • Solvents

  • Abrasive cleaners

  • Strong degreasers

  • Scouring pads

  • Steam cleaners

All kitchen spraying work includes a 12-month warranty subject to the conditions within this document.

5. uPVC Windows, Doors & Garage Doors Aftercare

To maintain the appearance and lifespan of sprayed uPVC surfaces:

  • Wash periodically using mild soapy water

  • Avoid abrasive sponges or pads

  • Avoid solvent-based cleaners

  • Do not pressure wash at close range

  • Avoid impact or scratching

Fresh coatings should not be aggressively cleaned during the initial curing period.

Handles, hinges, locks, and moving parts should continue to be maintained in line with manufacturer recommendations.

All uPVC spraying work includes a 12-month warranty subject to the conditions within this document.

Important Exclusion

Any cracking, splitting, peeling, shrinking, lifting, or failure of existing or newly applied silicone or caulk/sealant is not covered under warranty.

6. Render, Brickwork & Masonry Aftercare

Sprayed render and masonry coatings should be maintained using gentle cleaning methods only.

Customers should:

  • Avoid high-pressure washing

  • Repair structural cracks promptly

  • Resolve water ingress or damp issues quickly

  • Keep surfaces reasonably clean and maintained

Cracks caused by future structural movement are not covered under warranty.

All render, brickwork, and masonry spraying work includes a 12-month warranty subject to the conditions within this document.

Important Surface Condition Exclusion

No warranty is provided on render, masonry, or brickwork surfaces where existing issues are present prior to spraying, including:

  • Structural or hairline cracking

  • Peeling or flaking paint

  • Failing previous coatings

  • Damp areas

  • Water ingress

  • Moss, algae, or organic growth

  • Unstable or deteriorating surfaces

JR Architectural Spraying cannot guarantee coating performance where underlying substrates are already compromised or affected by moisture-related issues.

Any future peeling, flaking, blistering, cracking, or coating failure caused by these pre-existing conditions will not be covered under the 12-month warranty.

7. Cladding, Shopfronts & Shutters Aftercare

Commercial and exterior sprayed surfaces should be cleaned periodically to prevent dirt build-up.

Recommended maintenance includes:

  • Gentle washing with mild detergent

  • Avoiding harsh chemicals

  • Avoiding abrasive cleaning equipment

  • Prompt removal of contaminants where possible

Areas subject to heavy traffic or industrial contamination may require more regular maintenance.

All cladding, shopfront, and shutter spraying work includes a 12-month warranty subject to the conditions within this document.

8. Fascias, Soffits & Downpipes Aftercare

To help maintain sprayed roofline products:

  • Clear gutters regularly

  • Prevent overflowing water

  • Wash surfaces occasionally with mild soap and water

  • Avoid ladder damage or impact damage

Standing water, leaks, or poor drainage may reduce coating lifespan.

All fascia, soffit, and downpipe spraying work includes a 12-month warranty subject to the conditions within this document.

9. Warranty Conditions

The warranty is valid only where:

  • Full payment has been received

  • Recommended aftercare guidance has been followed

  • No third-party alterations or repairs have been carried out

  • Surfaces have been maintained correctly

Failure to follow aftercare instructions may void the warranty.

The standard warranty period is 12 months from the completion date of the works unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Warranty Claims

Any warranty concerns must be reported to JR Architectural Spraying as soon as reasonably possible after the issue is discovered.

Customers may be asked to provide:

  • Photographs of the issue

  • Original invoice or proof of work

  • Details of the problem

JR Architectural Spraying reserves the right to inspect any alleged warranty issue before repairs or remedial work are carried out.

Third-party repair costs will not be accepted unless agreed in writing beforehand.

Coating lifespan can vary depending on:

  • Surface condition

  • Exposure to weather

  • UV levels
